Awards: the winners of the Journalism Premiolino

They have distinguished themselves for freedom and independence (ANSA)  On the occasion of the 62nd edition, the Jury of 'Il Premiolino' of journalism met in Milan a few days ago, discussed the candidacies and proceeded to vote. These then are the winners of the 2022 edition assigned to a selected group of journalists from the press, radio, television and new media who have distinguished themselves for their professional commitment and for the defense of press freedo


 On the occasion of the 62nd edition, the Jury of 'Il Premiolino' of journalism met in Milan a few days ago, discussed the candidacies and proceeded to vote.

These then are the winners of the 2022 edition assigned to a selected group of journalists from the press, radio, television and new media who have distinguished themselves for their professional commitment and for the defense of press freedom.


Gabriele Micalizzi

, independent photojournalist for years at the forefront of reports from Mariupol on the destruction of the theater and from the underground of the Azovstal steel mills broadcast from Piazza Pulita - La 7;

Domenico Iannacone

for the Rai 3 serial program "Che ci fare qui";

Luigi Garlando

on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Capaci massacre for the book "For this my name is Giovanni" and for the publication of the interview with the collaborator of justice, Gaspare Mutolo, in the weekly Oggi;

Francesco Costa

, deputy director of Il Post for "Morning", the press review in podcast format;

Marta Serafini

joined the 'Corriere della Sera' in 2007 and from 2015 to the Foreign Office for the war diary from Odessa;

Silvia Sciorilli Borrelli

correspondent for Italy for the Financial Times for her commitment to investigative journalism and as a columnist on economic issues;

Luca Steinmann

for the reports on the war in the Donbass from the Russian front for the Special TgLa7 and for La Repubblica and Limes.


The BMW SpecialMente Award for social inclusion, now in its fourth edition, was awarded to F

iamma Satta

for the program 'A spasso con te' broadcast on Rai 3.
