Anyone who has bought one or more of the affected products should “please do not” consume them.

The company warns of this in the announcement.

The products can be returned to retailers, where the customer will then be reimbursed for the purchase price without presenting the receipt.

According to Nestlé, other Maggi products are not affected by the recall.

Chocolate is currently also affected by a recall.

A manufacturer is recalling its chocolate with almonds, honey and sea salt nationwide.

Consumers were at risk of liver and kidney damage when consuming the product.
