While volume 3 of Julia Quin's books focuses on the love life of Benedict Bridgerton, the artist brother of the family, it seems that the new showrunner Jess Brownell, who replaces Chris Van Dusen, has decided to change the order of the original saga.

An aristocratic cast

For this new season, Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) and Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma) will be back.

As well as members of the Bridgerton and Featherington families.

Only one small change in the Bridgerton family, the actress Ruby Stokes who plays Francesca Bridgerton, the sixth child of Lord Edmund and Lady Violet, is already engaged on another Netflix series and therefore leaves her place to Hannah Dodd.

For the moment, nothing has been announced concerning a possible return of the Duke of Hastings, played by Regé-Jean Page, already absent from season 2.

While Season 2 aired in March 2022, no release date has been announced for Season 3. Audiences eager to relive the love stories, dramas and gossip of London's high society already expects a broadcast in 2023.
