The network star, who played in children's series and participated in the Festigal and "The Singer in the Mask", plays the character of a great assistant in the series "Jerusalem" on HOT, and enjoys every moment

After starring in series and movies for children and teens, starring in "The Singer in the Mask" and starring in the Festigal, Kevin Robin plays for the first time in a dramatic role in the adult series.

It happens in the drama series "Jerusalem", which aired on HOT last week (Thursdays at 20:15 on HOT3), starring Rotem Sela, Doron Ben David and Zvika Hadar.

"This is a series that talks about the tension and sensitivity that exists in Jerusalem, a tension that unfortunately we have recently felt outside of Jerusalem as well," says Robin (28).

In the series, Rotem Sela plays a police officer who arrives in the Jerusalem area.

Doron Ben David is her partner, who is well acquainted with the city and its complexity.

The plot begins at a particularly sensitive time in the already explosive city: the ten days leading up to the Tisha B'Av fast and the Muslim Feast of Sacrifice.

Police officers should navigate carefully between all the various factors that affect the city.

"I play in the series Assistant to a Rabbi," says Robin.

"I had to grow a beard for a month and a half for the role. I brought up a story with the beard, and people asked 'what's going on with you?'. This is the first time I felt like I was getting into shoes that are not my shoes.

To this day cast for roles that were more like who you are in life?

"Yes, it was much easier for me. I always played the handsome, the bad guy or the funny, and suddenly a dramatic role as an assistant rabbi. With a hat, suit, tie, and I will not do spoilers but I also start charging money, and if someone does not bring "The money - I'm threatening his life. It's not something I've ever done in my life" (laughs).

Does it whet the appetite for more dramatic roles?

"Yes it opens my eyes. I want to continue to develop in the game. On the set I felt at home. Suddenly an adult series, with a message. I had a lot of fun. It's also a production that had time. Most productions in the country are very fast, and there were all the pips, "At any rate. It was really at the Netflix level."

Have a thought of learning a game?

"I wish I had the time to stop living and study for three years, but since I broke out in an instant, I do not want to lose what I have achieved to this day. I take private acting lessons with Gal Galit and Reut Alush before each role and each audition. I was not born an actor. I worked "Lots to finally get the stamp of an actor, especially because I was born online. But if you ask what was my dream? To be an actor. I hope that when they see this role in 'Jerusalem' - they will see another Kevin. That is my goal."

Have a dream to get to the theater?

"There is such a thought but my overarching goal is to be a prime time presenter. It's a big ambition, but I believe so much in it. I take lessons in normal Hebrew. I heard in the past full of 'no' and stopped listening to other people. Audition for it - I'll be the best. "

Is there a specific program you would like to guide?

"Dancing with the Stars", to join Assi Ezer and Rotem Sela in "The Next Star", to direct "Ninja Israel". "
