In 2016, Zara Phythian starred in »Doctor Strange« – now the actress has to go to prison.

A jury at Nottingham Crown Court saw it as evidence that Phythian and her husband repeatedly made a 13-year-old compliant and then abused her husband in the years 2005 to 2008.

The court sentenced the 37-year-old to eight years in prison.

Her 59-year-old husband was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Judge Mark Watson said he was the driving force behind the crime.

In addition, according to the indictment, he had previously sexually abused another young person.

One of the now-adult women reportedly testified at the trial that the actress' accused husband threatened to crush her kneecaps if she told anyone about it.

"He just said nobody would believe me anyway," she was quoted as saying.

The couple denied the allegations in court.
