(ANSA) - TOKYO, MAY 17 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts trading under the banner of caution, following the mixed closure of the US stock indices, after the data from China showing a slight slowdown in industrial production in April and the contraction in sales at detail.
The Nikkei benchmark index marks a just positive change of 0.06%, at 26,562.78.
On the currency market the yen is unchanged against the dollar, just above a value of 129, and on the euro, at 134.80.
