How is a capsule formed?
Production of a capsule is a complex process.
The fact that the process is local and conducted here in Israel, allows it to be monitored optimally, with quality control throughout, to ensure that the capsules that eventually reach the consumer at home, are the highest quality product that can be produced.
One that manages to preserve and refine the taste of the coffee so that it reaches the freshest consumers possible.

Aluminum capsules - why is it good?
The use of capsules which are made of aluminum, allows the coffee to be kept in the best way because it prevents the entry of air and moisture, which may cause aging and spoil the taste of the coffee.
An equally important fact is that this is an environmentally friendly product that can and should be recycled.
The use of aluminum also produces the best fit for home Nespresso machines.

The creation process
Picking and sorting:
The coffee in the capsules comes from different countries, in the form of beans.
Already here begins the difference between the different mixtures inside the capsules, depending on the country where the beans were grown, the weather conditions in which they were grown and more.
After the bean sorting process, which takes place immediately after the harvest is completed in the countries of origin, the beans arrive directly at the Elite Coffee Factory in Lod.
Roasting:
Now the process begins in the factory here in Israel, with the roasting of the coffee beans in a special oven.
At this point, the difference between the different mixtures in the capsules continues to crystallize - the manner of roasting, the length of time and the heat in which the coffee beans are lightened, will affect the strength of the coffee.
Roasting for a longer time will in the final stage create a stronger coffee, with a more bitter taste, and vice versa.
Grinding:
At the end of the roasting phase, the beans are transferred to the holding tanks and then comes the grinding phase.
In the grinders of the Elite Coffee Factory, the beans are ground in order to adjust the exact grinding intensity for use in the espresso capsules.
packing:
In the final stage, the ground coffee is transferred to the unique packaging machine.
This is one of the most important steps, in which it is important to maintain nitrogen-saturated air.
During this process, the coffee is compressed by soldering, the aluminum (from which the capsules of Elite Coffee are made) is the one that actually prevents the entry of oxygen into the capsule.
At this point, the capsules are transferred to the final packaging that will be sent to you at the supermarket or online site closest to your home.
