"Driving with zero patience for violence":
Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz today (Wednesday) referred to the cases of violence in health institutions, the most recent of which was at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, when a family who was informed of the death of a loved one attacked the medical staff.
"Our medical staff can not and should not deal with bullying and violence. A life-saving nurse is not a policewoman and should not be afraid of being beaten," Horowitz said, adding: "We do not see indictments against anyone who dares to raise a hand in a hospital and vandalize property. Backs up and guards the staff and the patients.

He added: "At the next cabinet meeting I will demand the placement of police positions within the hospitals, who can respond in real time to any case of violence. The health teams will deal with medicine and the police with enforcement. Very simple.
"The incitement against the Ministry of Health that has increased in the Corona attacks, the violence against the medical staff, are part of the same problem. Everywhere, and certainly in my areas of the health system, we must have zero tolerance for violence."
