The Financiers of the Provincial Command of Messina have carried out a precautionary custody order against seven people under investigation for mafia association and for crimes against the public administration.
Among the recipients of the precautionary measure, issued by the Gip of Messina at the request of the Dda of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the City of the Strait, there are the mayor and the deputy mayor of Moio Alcantara and the former councilor for public works of Malvagna.
The investigations of the Guardia di Finanza concerned the mafia infiltration and the conditioning of Cosa Nostra in the municipal administrations of the two countries of the Ionian area of Messina.
