Pollution, warming waters, dams... The National Federation of Fisheries in France is calling to save migratory fish


When we talk about migratory species, we immediately think of geese, swallows and storks capable of flying over entire continents during their journey.

We forget that the same phenomenon occurs in the heart of our rivers where salmon, sturgeons, eels swallow thousands of kilometers between oceans and rivers to reproduce.

The National Federation of Fishing in France (FNPF), which presents them as "aquatic super-athletes", is sorry to witness the "massive decline of these species for fifty years", due to the degradation of their natural environment.

She decided this Wednesday to call on "institutions and the general public" to mobilize to save them.
