The Capri chansonnier Guido Lembo, founder of the Taverna "Anema e Core", died in a clinic in Castellammare di Stabia, after having fought for a long time against a serious illness.
He was 75 years old.
The disease had recently kept him away from the island for long periods.
Guido Lembo had changed the nights of Capri by creating a small venue close to the famous Piazzetta, where VIPs, actors, singers, entrepreneurs, but also the regulars of the blue island have passed.
From Jennifer Lopez to Naomi Campbell, to the players of various teams (Ferrara, Insigne, Mertens, Totti), to the entrepreneurs Luigi Abete, his friend, and Diego della Valle, many were involved in the music of Guido Lembo who, at the end of the evening he invited them to get on the table and sing the classic Neapolitan melodies that celebrities and common customers played with the guitar.
