(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 19 - In the first two months of 2022, 1,208,219 new employment contracts were activated while 943,329 were terminated with a positive balance of 264,890 contracts.
The INPS notes this in the Observatory on precarious work, underlining that the net change is positive for over 125 thousand units in permanent contracts (hires plus transformations, fewer terminations of stable contracts), an increase compared to the 86,762 of the previous year when it was in force the freeze on redundancies.
The balance of permanent contracts was positive especially in January (+105,416) while in February it was +19,804.
