Satisfying one's passion for fashion by limiting its impact on the planet, renewing one's wardrobe without cluttering up one's cupboards, adopting a circular mode of consumption without leaving all one's energy there... head.
But while shopping guilt is driving more consumers away from store shelves, others aren't ready to give up on fashion.
This is the case of Julia Anes, who found a common answer to all her problems by creating Renaisa, an eco-responsible luxury clothing rental platform that has thought of everything.
Circular dressing room, greener dressing room
Launched in February 2022, Renaisa promises more creativity and less guilt by bringing together rental, purchase and soon even second-hand services.
“Production and processing represent 70% of the environmental impact of a garment.
Then comes the sending, the logistics, and therefore the use, ”says Julia Anes.
Naturally, renting eco-responsible clothing rather than turning to a purchase presents itself as a less harmful formula.
For the rest, with eco-cleaning, recyclable packaging and carbon neutrality, Renaisa is committed to delivering the most ecological service possible.
But above all, practical.
Allure for rent
Punctuating your look with the latest Patou, Atlein or even Paco Rabanne creations for one to four weeks and turning them around before you tire of them, that's what Renaisa offers in concrete terms.
Enough to taste the benefits of circularity, while sparing yourself the drudgery of logistics like the Vinted mental load.
Same-day delivery (in Paris) or 24-hour delivery in France, 7 days a week, free delivery and returns, long-term rental... Everything is done on the platform to provide maximum comfort.
And if the arguments are not enough to be seduced by the rental, Renaisa also offers the purchase, new or at the end of the rental (with a reduced price), and even the recovery, (against compensation also) within 18 months. .
The ultimate goal?
Offer a second life to the pieces collected in this way,

Julia Anes, committed founder
After several years of occupying key positions in retail, such as consulting or purchasing at Galeries Lafayette, Julia Anes decided to make rental her hobbyhorse.
A German expatriate in France, this business school graduate has sharpened her ecological awareness through her experience in the industry.
Three questions to Julia Anes, founder of Renaisa
Madame Figaro.- Among all the new, more responsible practices in fashion, why do you particularly believe in rentals?
Julia Anes.- Over
the past ten years, the second hand has really taken off, it is even said that it will overtake the new.
We think renting is the next step.
We do car sharing, we rent music… It's already part of our way of life.
In addition, the brands we work with encourage us a lot in this direction.
We are convinced that renting can be a substitute for the act of buying.
What do you want to see your platform evolve towards?
My goal is to create a European community of fashion lovers who share Renaisa's wardrobe and have fun with this service.
We hope to eventually reach around thirty brands, to offer pieces to everyone and meet all needs.
What is the message you want to convey with Renaisa?
We are committed to supporting responsible consumption, but also to providing access to creation.
I particularly care about this aspect, we have an incredible know-how, there is real creativity in fashion, and a lot of fun.
We want people to discover this pleasure.
Many of our customers are already aware of this, but with this service they can test new things, live from the catwalks.
Our ambition with Renaisa is to provide a cutting-edge offer to as many people as possible.
A consumer of second-hand clothes on a personal basis, this fashion enthusiast could not find an offer that satisfied her ecological and stylistic requirements.
The rental is imposed on her.
Julia Anes then surrounds herself with a partner, engineer, logistician, cleaning partner and builds her ideal service, a balance between quality, responsibility and creativity.
After two years of research and development, Renaisa is born, this hybrid which realizes its dream: “Rotate my wardrobe as much as I want”.
The meeting of a personal ambition and a universal utopia.
