(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 19 - The Russian aerospace forces today launched a Soyuz-2.1 rocket that put a new military satellite into orbit around the Earth.

Russian agencies report it.

The launch took place from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, 800 kilometers north of Moscow, in the Archangel province.
