The district court in Traunstein has sentenced a wrong vaccination doctor to three years and ten months in prison.

The man was found guilty of, among other things, commercial fraud, misuse of title, dangerous bodily harm in 305 counts and intentional bodily harm in 1,144 counts.

"He's an impostor," said the presiding judge.

His life was characterized by "deceiving and manipulating".

The man had worked in the Rosenheim vaccination center and in the Karlsfeld vaccination center in the Dachau district and had been deployed with mobile vaccination teams in nursing homes, for example.

According to investigators, nobody suffered any health damage.

The man is said to have billed a good 20,000 euros, but according to the defense he received no money in the end.

"Thank God you didn't become a priest"

The case was also blown because the wrong doctor vaccinated a real doctor.

He noticed that the man was unable to answer even the simplest medical questions.

The vaccination center then filed a complaint.

This was reported by a police officer entrusted with investigations in the taking of evidence.

The presiding judge was clear in her verdict, calling the theologian "inhuman, inconsiderate, irresponsible, lacking in empathy" and added: "Thank God you didn't become a priest."

The defendant's lawyer criticized the way the verdict was justified and also that chat histories that had nothing to do with the accused acts had been introduced into the proceedings in order to portray her client in a particularly negative light.

The defense is considering whether to appeal the verdict.

Man confessed

At the start of the trial in February, the accused had largely admitted the allegations made by the prosecution.

It was correct that he used a false doctorate, forged a license to practice medicine and thus wrongly administered a vaccine, he said through his lawyers.

He had also said: »My character values are the basis of my actions and actions.«

The public prosecutor had asked for five years in prison, the defense a suspended sentence.
