ANSA Lavoro - ROME, MAY 20 - Green light for reimbursements of motorway tolls for consumers affected by the inconvenience of construction sites and works on the Autostrade per l'Italia network.
The Antitrust has thus concluded the proceeding on the company dandovia free, after some modifications, to the Cashback system which will allow "the right to obtain reimbursements between 25% and 100% of the toll depending on the mileage traveled and the delay time accumulated due to of inefficiencies generated by work sites ".
Considering the efforts made by the company, the Antitrust Authority decided to apply a minimum penalty (10,000 euros) to ASPI.
In particular, already within the month of May, reimbursements are foreseen for delays starting from 10 minutes for journeys up to 99km and at least 15 minutes for all other bands (up to over 500 km), calculated taking as reference the historical average speed that for for light vehicles it is equal to 100 km / h, while for heavy vehicles it is equal to 70 km / h.
