Over the next week, two weapons will once again be coming to Fortnite for a limited time.

These are the guns and their accompanying quests.

Cary, North Carolina – Fortnite regularly rotates weapons on the map.

Sometimes new guns are added, sometimes a few old-fashioned candidates disappear into the vault.

Apparently, Epic Games wants to get two old friends out of the vault next week and put them back in the Battle Royale loot boxes.

Ingame.de from IPPEN.MEDIA reveals which weapons are coming back and what their quests look like.

Fortnite: Two Long Lost Weapons Return - Big Damage and Big Visibility

What weapons are included?

Fortnite's arsenal will be expanded in the coming week with two weapons that die-hard fans should still be familiar with.

The Rail Gun and Recon Scanner will make their way back into battle royale.

The former is a slow-charging, single-shot weapon that can deal devastating damage, while the latter is more of a utility rifle.

The Recon Scanner fires reconnaissance grenades that reveal the environment in a radius around their point of impact.

What weapons do they replace?

However, for the Rail Gun and Recon Scanner to return, two weapons will also have to go.

The two new guns will probably replace the Kippwelt Minigun and Kippwelt rifle, which recently returned with Fortnite update 20.40.

The Kippwelt weapons are available in Fortnite until May 24th, after which they are said to be replaced by the Rail Recon duo and relegated back to the Vault.

What are the quests like?

In addition to the new weapons, Fortnite has a few quests that fans can complete for extra experience.

The tasks revolve around playing with the guns, so players have to deal as much damage as possible with the rail gun or tag as many enemies as possible with the recon scanner.

There are also a few quests that require using both weapons in tandem.
