NBA playoffs: Boston wins in Miami, series 1-1

   Led by Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart, Boston beat Miami at home (127-102) to draw the series in the Eastern Conference final.

    Defeated in the first match (118-107), the Celtics have brilliantly recovered in Florida.

    When playing at this level of intensity and precision, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart are unstoppable.

    Tatum made his mark in the first period, scoring 20 (70% shooting success) of his 27 points.

Not least Brown (24 pts, 8 rebounds), while Smart even touched the triple double (24 pts, 12 assists, 9 rebounds).

"The collective effort tonight was total," said Smart, who had to miss game # 1 with a pain in his foot and whose comeback was felt.

Like that of Al Horford (10 points), authorized to play after exiting the Covid protocol.

    Celtic were already in the lead at half time (70-45), franchise record as a bonus: the most successful team in history, with the Lakers (17 coronations), had never scored so many points after two quarters in an away play-off match home.

After the long break, Miami relied on Jimmy Butler.

    The winger accumulated 16 points in the third quarter, to finish with a total of 29 (and 6 rebounds), but this time he was left too alone to lay the foundations for a possible comeback.

The Heat once again had to do without Kyle Lowry (hamstring), while PJ Tucker had to leave the field in the second half for a blow to the knee.
