Pop superstar Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky have reportedly welcomed their first child together.
The baby, a boy, was born in Los Angeles on May 13, the celebrity portal TMZ reported on Thursday.
People magazine also confirmed that Rihanna had become a mother.
The name of the newborn is not yet known.
The 34-year-old singer of hits like "Diamonds" and "Umbrella" made her pregnancy public at the end of January when she was photographed by a celebrity photographer with her coat open over her spherical, bare stomach.
Rihanna, who is also successful as a fashion entrepreneur, and rapper A$AP Rocky are said to have been in a relationship for some time.
They only made their relationship official last year.
In May 2021, A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, called Rihanna, who was born on the Caribbean island of Barbados, the "love of my life" in GQ magazine.
When asked if he was ready to be a father, he said, "I think I would be an incredible, remarkable, all-round great father."
Most recently, however, the 33-year-old made negative headlines: he was arrested at Los Angeles Airport in April on charges of shooting an acquaintance last November and slightly injuring him.
The musician is free on bail.
