(ANSA) - BEIJING, MAY 21 - For the first time in 45 years, the US is growing more than China: US President JoeBiden said this at a joint press conference in Seoul with his counterpart Yoon Suk-yeol.
"For the first time since 1976, US growth is greater than China's," Biden noted, adding that "it's never a good idea to bet against the United States."
His reference is to a projection made by Bloomberg, according to which by 2022 the average growth rate of China will be lower, for the first time since 1976, than that of the USA: 2% versus 2.8%.
