There is always a lot to see and admire in hardware stores.

In a Hornbach branch, a particularly animal-loving information sign is now attracting attention.

Bornheim (Palatinate) - In many DIY store branches there are also smaller animals to buy in addition to craftsmen's utensils, garden equipment and wall paint.

At Hornbach, Obi, Toom and Co., aquarium fish and smaller rodents are mainly for sale.

In a special Hornbach branch, completely different animals now seem to feel at home and even nest.

Two orange signs catch the eye of passers-by - and that's important too.

Apparently, two birdies have chosen the plant shelf as their new home and breeding ground at the same time.

The Hornbach employee's note is very considerate and animal-loving - and that also inspires the author of the post, as she expresses with the beaming emoji.

Just a few days ago, the Nabu Nature Conservation Association called on the population to count and report garden birds in parks and gardens again.

It is to be hoped that everyone will follow the instructions on the orange signs, that nobody will disturb the calm of the hardware store birds and that they can breed in peace.
