Sunflower oil has been in great demand in Ukraine since the outbreak of war.
A Rewe customer was amazed at his supermarket discovery.
Berlin - Ukraine is one of the world's most important suppliers of sunflower oil.
You can currently feel that in this country when shopping in the supermarket.
Since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict, sunflower oil, among other things, has become scarce in many places.
The shelves are empty.
On the one hand, this is due to delivery difficulties, but on the other hand, it is also due to unfounded hamster purchases.

If the sunflower oil is then available in a supermarket, the astonishment but also the joy is great.
At Aldi, customers could hardly believe their eyes and thought the coveted goods were dummies.
A Rewe customer explained that she almost fell over in shock when she saw the full shelf of cooking oil.
Another Rewe customer had a similar experience.
"When I saw this in the supermarket today, I thought for a moment, I'm dead and this is heaven's gate," wrote the user via Twitter.
He also posted a picture of a Rewe shelf filled with numerous bottles of sunflower oil.
According to the picture, there are even different branded products in stock in the supermarket.
Rewe customer finds sunflower oil: "Heavenly paradise is expensive"
This seems to be the case again in several cities.
"Rewe Würzburg has a full shelf full of Ukrainian sunflower oil today," commented one user.
"Now that everyone has 48 liters in their closet, the warehouses are also coming up with the subsequent deliveries," wrote another user, alluding to the many hamster buyers.
"Nature is healing," another explained the availability with a wink.
Another topic in the comments: the significant rise in the price of sunflower oil.
The prices for the "liquid gold" in the photo are between 1.79 euros and 3.99 euros.
In other supermarkets, sometimes even higher sums are called.
"But heavenly paradise is expensive," commented one user, referring to the tweet author's allusion to heaven's gates.
“3.99 for oil that used to cost 1.29.
I fear you are at the gate below," wrote another.
Not only sunflower oil is currently becoming more expensive - the prices for other foods such as meat or butter are also exploding due to the corona pandemic, inflation and war.
