An extremely rare representation in prehistoric art, and particularly unexpected in Provence.
Until now, only a handful of divers and scientists had been able to observe these animals so closely in the Cosquer cave, discovered in a creek in 1985 by Henri Cosquer: the underwater cavity is almost inaccessible.
In a few days, from June 4, this will be possible for the general public thanks to the opening of a replica, just a few meters from the Old Port of Marseille.
