(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 21 - Years go by but, as punctual as revenge, the frenzy for the "hot" film of the year is unleashed.
To tell the truth by now there is very little that cinema has not already shown on the subject of sex but today, in the absence of anything else, the spotlights have turned to the Swiss Jan Gassmann (kinship is not ascertained) than in the super-Off Acid section, brought his «99 LUNE».
Already revealed at the Berlinale, here Gassmann embroiders the eternal impossibility of separating passion, exemption from erotic drive.
The limit would like to be preserved by the strong-willed and cold researcher Bigna and the younger Frank tries to indulge her without being able to repress his feelings.
They will look for and leave each other repeatedly in a relationship increasingly marked by domination but, as already in Bertolucci, the heart is not commanded.
There was much talk of the film today at the Marché but for now only the German-speaking and Latin American countries have made purchase offers.
