(ANSA) - TURIN, 22 MAY - Amélie Nothomb wins ex aequo with the novel 'First Blood' (Voland) and the Russian writer-president Mikhail Shishkin, with 'Vanishing Point' (21 letters) the 2022 European Witch Award. The two winners obtained 6 votes each out of a total of 25 expressed by the jury made up, as usual, of winners and finalists of the PremioStrega.

The award, now in its ninth edition, was also assigned to Federica Di Lella and Emanuela Bonacorsi, translators of the winning books, "as a tangible sign of the importance that translations have as a tool for dialogue and knowledge".
