(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 23 - Lufthansa confirms that it has submitted a binding offer for a majority stake in ItaAirways together with MSC.
The press reports.
In the meantime, the binding offers to the Minister of Economy and Finance awaited by midnight.
Those of the MSC-Lufthansa consortium (in fact already arrived) and of the USA Certares fund, the two groups that have entered the data room of the newco.
It seems unlikely that an offer from the Indigo fund will arrive at this point as well.
The data room, that is the virtual room with all the documents, accounts and confidential data of the company, was closed at 18 today.
