GTA 6: Take-Two does not say a word about the game – release still far away?

"GTA 6": The next part of the "Grand Theft Auto" series could be a long time coming.

The release of "GTA 6" could still be years away.
That's what Take-Two's recent investor conference suggests.
In February there was a first sign of life for "GTA 6".
In a press release, the developers at Rockstar Games confirmed that development is in full swing.
But that was all the information.
The studio did not want to reveal more.
That said, neither the official title nor a time window for the release are known at this time.
All sorts of theories about the release date are circulating online.
Some predict that "GTA 6" could soon be on the market.
Various industry insiders assume that the game will be released in 2025 at the earliest.
Publisher Take-Two has now presented the plans for the next few years at the most recent investor conference.
There is no trace of "GTA 6" again, which is why fans now fear that the game can really only be expected in 2025.

As part of the investors' call, Take-Two highlighted the games it has
planned for fiscal 2025
-- that is, launching by September 2025.
These titles include, for example, "The Quarry", "Marvel's Midnight Suns" or "NBA 2K23" and "PGA Tour 2K23".
Mention is also made of "GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition", which will be released for smartphones and tablets.
GTA 6 is not mentioned anywhere in the pipeline, which is why many fans now fear that the next Grand Theft Auto part will be released
at the end of 2025 at the earliest

But the games mentioned are titles that have already been officially announced.
This is not yet the case with "GTA 6", although Rockstar Games has already confirmed the development.
For this reason, there is at least a little hope that the release will not be that long in coming.
In addition, the boss of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, had often emphasized in the past
that only Rockstar Games would comment on "GTA 6"
.
That could also be a reason why not a word was said about "GTA 6" at the investor conference.
Either way, fans will probably have to wait a few years until the release.
With an announcement trailer, Take-Two and Rockstar could at least alleviate some of the frustration.
