(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 23 - Almost 280 billion in investments for sustainable mobility, 12 billion for water infrastructures and 7 billion for sustainable construction: this is what the new long-term strategy for infrastructures has been presented today by the Minister for Infrastructure and sustainable mobilityEnrico Giovannini.
From the Infrastructure Annex to Def 2022, it emerges that investments for completion, insecurity, environmental compatibility and technological adaptation of the Integrated National Transport System amount to 279.4 billion (+ 8% on 2021), with resources already allocated for 209 billion and a need residual of 70.4 billion.
Railways with urban nodes are the item on which Mimsconvoglias the greatest amount of investments to carry out the programs necessary for the completion, safety, environmental compatibility and technological adaptation of the Integrated National Transport System (SNIT).
A total cost of 147.4 billion euros is foreseen for this expenditure chapter: compared to 104 billion of resources already available, a requirement of 43.4 billion remains.
Among the other interventions and priority programs for transport and mobility, the second largest item concerns Roads and motorways, with a cost of 83.5 billion, available resources of 63.2 billion and a requirement of 20.3 billion.
Then follows the rapid mass transport - metropolitan cities, with costs of 32.6 billion, available resources of 28.8 billion and a deficit of 3.8 billion.
For the ports, 10.1 billion investments are foreseen, 9.2 of which are available resources and 900 million are still missing.
The investments for the Airports item amounted to 3.2 billion euros and entirely covered by available resources, while the cost for the Ciclovie is 2.6 billion but the availability amounts to only 600 million with a residual requirement of 2 billion.
