For fans, the countdown has already begun.
It's next Friday, from 9 am, that they will be able to see the first half of season 4 of "Stranger Things", the hit fantasy series from Netflix.
Seven new episodes, for a season that should have 9. And we saw them!
As a preamble, let's say right away that the spectators will get their money's worth.
Each episode is indeed a real short film, never lasting less than an hour!
The shortest, the 3rd, displays 1h3 minutes on the counter, the longest, the 7th, downright 1h38!
Enough to have plenty of time to develop all the plots, some of which were left undone at the end of season 3. For example, what really happened to Sheriff Hopper, who disappeared in an explosion?
Or why is the town of Hawkins the scene of so many supernatural-related events?
Horror and gore and even the "Freddy" actor
This of course remains present in “Stranger Things”, and even more than ever.
The writers reveal a new threat, and deliver a much darker and macabre plot than in the past.
In the same way that the series shows that the kids at the beginning have grown up (for some, it's spectacular!), the story takes a step forward, with scenes that are downright horror and gore.
Fans will also note the presence, in episode 4, of actor Robert Englund, who played Freddy in a long bloody saga from 1984 to 2010. Quite a symbol!

The series also puts the small dishes in the big ones by multiplying decorations.
The action takes place not only in Hawkins, but also in the suburbs of Los Angeles, where the Byers family moved in the company of Eleven, and also in the Soviet Union, in scenes which were shot in Lithuania.
As for the actors, as we have said, they have changed.
Physically (wait until you see Lucas' haircut!), but also in their heads.
The forced estrangement between Eleven and Mike undermines their relationship, Max remains traumatized at having lost his half-brother Billy, Steve still hasn't mourned Nancy... Only Dustin seems to remain true to himself, indescribable Never short of a good word.
A festival at the Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione
Watching these new episodes of "Stranger Things" is therefore like reuniting with old friends after a few years of separation, just like in real life: with pleasure, a bit like in our memories, but also with a few modifications, which allows to maintain interest.
For Ile-de-France fans, a visit to the Cirque d'hiver Bouglione will prove essential, between Thursday and Sunday.
Netflix is indeed offering a Stranger Things Festival there in the colors of the Upside Down, the supernatural universe that reigns under Hawkins and described in the series, with many animations very referenced in the 1980s, based on disco-roller and dice games. 'arcade.
