From now on, Pokémon GO players will get free items if they are also Prime Gaming subscribers.

Here's how to redeem the code.

Seattle – Every major console and game manufacturer now has its own subscription model.

From PS Plus to Xbox Game Pass to Ubisoft+.

Amazon is also represented with its own subscription model: Prime Gaming.

But fans don't have to pay extra for this, because Prime Gaming is included in the Amazon Prime membership.

All "Amazon Prime" subscribers can therefore secure the advantages of Prime Gaming.

This month brings free items to Pokémon GO for the first time, thanks to the new partnership between Prime Gaming and Niantic.

Prime Gaming: Free items for Pokémon GO – that's what players get

This is what Prime Gaming x Pokémon GO has:

AR developer Niantic is now working with Amazon Prime Gaming and is offering subscribers to the service free in-game items.

Every two weeks, trainers who also own Prime Gaming should receive a bundle in Pokémon GO.

According to the official press release, this includes “

Poké Balls, Top Revives and more

”.

Then there's the first bundle:

The first "Pokémon GO x Prime Gaming" bundle is supposed to be available from May 19, so that trainers are even better equipped for Pokémon GO Community Day in May 2022.

The first bundle will contain the following items:

  • 30 Pokeballs

  • 5 top revitalizers

  • 1 star piece

Then the bundles appear:

From May 19th, "Prime Gaming" subscribers should be able to redeem a new item bundle for Pokémon GO every two weeks.

The offer should be available throughout the summer.

So there will probably also be a "Prime Gaming" bundle for Pokémon GO Fest 2022, which takes place on June 4th and 5th, 2022.

Are the bundles worth it?

Anyone who is already an "Amazon Prime" member can certainly treat themselves to the "Pokémon GO" bundles.

You don't give a gift horse in its mouth, or anything like that.

Signing up for a membership just to grab the free Pokémon GO items is not recommended.

Android Instructions:

Redeeming the Prime Gaming code on Android devices is easy.

If you play Pokémon GO with an Android device, you can simply open the in-game shop and scroll down there.

At the end, a box will appear that says "Promos".

Enter the code there and click redeem.

The items should already have ended up in the inventory.

Instructions for iOS:

Apple users have to take a small detour, as the Prime Gaming Codes cannot be redeemed there via the Pokémon GO app.

Instead, they must visit the Niantic website and log in with their Pokémon GO account.

The code can then be entered and redeemed directly.

Then the items from the "Prime Gaming" bundle also go into the inventory.
