This quick strawberry cake comes together from three easy layers.

Strawberry cake in three layers: With a simple sponge cake, a layer of vanilla pudding and sliced strawberries on top, the strawberry cake is not only quick - it is also really delicious.
Ingredients for quick strawberry cake (for 12 people)
For the dough:
150 grams of butter
150 grams of sugar
150 grams of flour
3 eggs
1 packet of vanilla sugar
1/2 packet baking powder

For the vanilla pudding:
1 sachet of vanilla pudding powder
500 milliliters of milk
2 packets of vanilla sugar
For the topping:
500 grams of strawberries
Powdered sugar to taste
juice of one unwaxed lemon

Preparation of the quick strawberry cake
Preheat the
oven
to 180 degrees.
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar into a
creamy mass.
Add the eggs and mix well again.
Mix baking powder and flour and fold into the mixture.
Don't mix for too long!
Grease the baking pan and pour in the batter.
Let the dough bake for about 20 minutes and then let it cool down.
Now mix milk, custard powder and vanilla sugar together until you get a soft custard mass.
Wash the
strawberries
and cut them into
slices
.
Put them in a bowl and mix in the lemon juice.
Now spread the
pudding mixture
onto the cooled
dough base
, place the
strawberry
slices on top and sprinkle some
icing sugar
over them if you like.
Place the summery strawberry cake in the
fridge
for another 15 minutes .
