Puff pastry and mascarpone cream

Ingredients

    • 1 pack Butter puff pastry (thawed overnight in the refrigerator)

    • 12 pcs metal cone (available at bakeries and housewares)

  • For vanilla mascarpone cream

    • 250 ml for 38% sweet cream (package)

    • 120 ml for milk (half a cup)

    • 40 g powdered sugar (5 tbsp)

    • 40 g vanilla instant pudding (4 tablespoons)

    • 125 grams of mascarpone

  • For icing (before baking)

    • 1 beaten egg

    • ½ Cup sugar

Preparation

How to make puff pastry and mascarpone cream?

  • 1

    Prepare the curtains:

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

    Spread the puff pastry on the work surface and cut it into strips 2 cm wide (a little wider than you want at the end, because during wrapping the strips stretch and become narrower and longer).

  • 2 Wrap each strip on a cone, starting from the tip while wrapping the strip around the cup should be slightly overlapping so that in each round the dough will slightly exceed the dough from the previous round.

    When you reach the end of the strip, attach a new strip of dough in a pinch.

  • 3 Brush the curtains with beaten egg, roll in sugar and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

  • 4 Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the curtains are browned.

    Remove from the oven and leave it running at 150 degrees.

  • 5 Separate the dough sheets from the cone cups, the inside will still be unbaked so return the dough sheets to the oven for 10 minutes, until the inside is completely baked.

    Cool completely.

  • 6

    Preparation of the cream:

    In a mixer, beat all the ingredients until a stable cream is obtained.

  • 7 Transfer the cream to a perfusion bag and fill the cones (cold!) With the cream.

    Possible with a serrated center or no center at all.
