Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still in cinemas.
But fans will also soon be able to watch the Marvel film on the Disney Plus streaming provider.
Fans have had to wait six years for a
sequel to the MCU hit "Doctor Strange"
starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
This year the time has finally come: Since May 4th, the eponymous main character Stephen Strange has continued with the second part "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness".

The problem: the film is currently only showing on the big screen in German cinemas.
However, since the corona pandemic is not over yet, many viewers may be hesitant to go to the cinema and would rather watch the new Marvel film at home.

"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness": Streaming start on Disney Plus
Good news for fans who would rather see "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" in the home cinema and are subscribers to Disney Plus: As reported by
Kino.de
, it could be as far as summer 2022 that the
blockbuster
will be released for streaming
will.
Kino.de
refers to past Marvel releases such as "Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings" and "Eternals", which were available on Disney Plus approximately 70 days after theatrical release.
That would speak for a streaming start of the "Doctor Strange" sequel in July 2022. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed, after all, as many viewers as possible should stream into the cinemas.
By the way: Disney Plus will be significantly cheaper because a new advertising-financed subscription will be introduced.
