The security alarm in Tirana and the concerns for public order are proving to be well founded, due to the behavior of the Feyenoord fans, prey to the fumes of alcohol.

The police of the Albanian capital has in fact confirmed that there are "three cases of accidents", in two of which there were clashes, also based on beatings and stone-throwing, between law enforcement officers and supporters from Holland (so far in Tirana there would be about seven thousand).

In the first case, a man of Albanian nationality was injured by a chair in the head in the fan zone reserved for Feyenoord fans, who were allegedly provoked by the man who was then injured (he is currently in the emergency room, but is not in particular danger) who he would sing hymns of Rome.

Eight people, not nine,

as reported by the police have been stopped for this affair, but are not, at least for now under arrest.

Other incidents occurred in one of the areas of the 'nightlife' of Tirana, a few hundred meters from the seat of the Government, in via Mustafa Matohiti.

About 200 Dutch hooligans clashed with police, using clubs and throwing stones at the officers, two of whom were injured.

Other incidents, with related clashes between policemen and Feyenoord fan-hooligans, occurred near the headquarters of the Tirana police headquarters, in one of the central areas of the Albanian capital.

The special units of the law enforcement agencies also intervened and rejected the Dutch supporters who headed towards Scanderbeg square, in the center of Tirana.

A police car was left with shattered glass.

Meanwhile, riots are also reported in the suburbs, which always see Dutch thugs as protagonists.

Therefore, concern is growing about what may happen tomorrow, when the arrival, by charter flights, of most of the supporters of Roma is expected, whose number, according to what they estimate in Tirana, could reach twenty thousand.

Those who are already here,

for now they have not created problems and prefer not to attract attention, avoiding wearing shirts or symbols that identify the Giallorossi faith.

Many have also avoided the busier areas.
