(ANSA) - TOKYO, MAY 24 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins trading under the banner of caution, awaiting data from the manufacturing sector and in contrast to the positive closure of the US stock market.
At the opening, the Nikkei reference list marks a slightly negative change of 0.15% to 26,961.42, with a loss of 40 points.
On the currency front, the yen was unchanged against the dollar at 127.80, while it depreciated against the euro at 136.50.
