Enjoying coffee should also prevent dementia.
First a coffee: The caffeinated drink made from coffee beans is indispensable in any office.
Huge amounts of coffee beans are also used in cafés and in domestic kitchens.

A team of researchers from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, has studied the impact of coffee on heart health.
The conclusion of the scientists led by Dr.
Judit Simon from the University's Cardiovascular Center, which they presented at the 2021 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress:
Up to three cups of coffee a day have been linked to a reduced risk of stroke and fatal heart disease

But not only the heart should benefit from coffee.
Regular coffee consumption also reduces the risk of dementia.
This is the conclusion reached by a research team led by Yuan Zhang from the School of Public Health at Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China.
The scientists examined how many cups of coffee have a positive effect on brain health.

We found that coffee and tea consumption alone or in combination are associated with a lower risk of stroke and dementia,
" according to the main findings of the Chinese-US American research group.
For their analysis, they evaluated the data of 365,682 people between the ages of 50 and 74 from the UK Biobank.
This is a large-scale, long-term British study.
The observation period was around 14 years.

Those study participants who drank two to three cups of coffee or three to five cups of tea were least likely to develop stroke or dementia.
"Compared to those who did not drink tea or coffee, consuming two to three cups of coffee and two to three cups of tea per day was associated with a 32 percent lower risk of stroke and a
28 percent lower risk of dementia,
" the researchers informed in their study, published in the online journal Plos Medicine.
Coffee consumption also showed positive effects after a stroke: "Consumption of coffee alone or in combination with tea was associated with a lower risk of dementia after a stroke," according to another result of the study.
