Cassa Depositi e Prestiti today inaugurated the new territorial office in Brescia, the second in Lombardy after the one in Milan.
The initiative, explains a note, will allow the Cassa to extend its range of action to the provinces of Bergamo, Cremona and Sondrio, strengthening its presence in the region.
"We chose Brescia because it is an important city for its economy and businesses. It has always been at the forefront of infrastructural choices and has a public administration that has always shown to be attentive to innovation", declared Giovanni Gorno Tempini , president of CDP, on the sidelines of the inauguration.
"Brescia - he added - was a natural choice. The headquarters will also cover Bergamo, Cremona and Sondrio; therefore all of eastern Lombardy will have a point of reference".
The inauguration took place on the occasion of the second stage of the Cdp roadshow, with the aim of presenting the tools and projects of the group in favor of companies and public administration to face the challenges related to sustainable development, implementation of the NRP, urban regeneration, digitalisation and the improvement of social cohesion.
An appointment that sees the intervention at the Palazzo della Loggia in Brescia, seat of the Municipality, of the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, of the mayor of Brescia, Emilio Del Bono, of the president of Confindustria Brescia, Franco Gussalli Beretta, of the president of Cariplo Foundation, Giovanni Fosti, the president of Anci Lombardia, Mauro Guerra, the mayor of Leno, Cristina Tedaldi, the president of CDP, Giovanni Gorno Tempini, and the managing director, Dario Scannapieco.
After the stops in Naples and Brescia, the Cdp roadshow will continue touching the other main Italian cities, including Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Palermo, Turin, Venice and Verona.
