How to bake the sawdust cake with paradise cream
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees/top heat.
For the base, first mix the butter with the sugar at the highest level with the hand mixer until the mixture turns white.
Then stir in the eggs one at a time.
Take 30 to 60 seconds per egg for this.
Now mix the baking cocoa, flour and baking powder with a pinch of salt and fold the dry ingredients into the butter and egg mixture.
But only stir until a dough forms
Spread the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the oven setting.
Allow the chocolate base of the sawdust cake to cool afterwards.
For the cream topping, whip up the sour cream, cream and paradise cream powder with a hand mixer and then spread the cream on the cooled base.
Finally, prepare the icing.
To do this, heat the butter without letting it brown and then mix it with the sugar and grated coconut.
Then spread the mixture over the cream.
