Ukrainian teachers will receive 43 thousand computers from Google.

Ukrainska Pravda reports this, quoting the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.

The technical support of Google for Education, with the collaboration of Unesco, according to the minister, will help teachers to continue teaching at a distance.

"Millions of people are forced to flee their homes, thousands of schools have been hit by bombings and the Ministry of Education and Science estimates that more than 3.7 million students will have to continue the activity remotely," he wrote in a note Matt Brittin, president of Google Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

For 50,000 teachers, online training courses proposed by Google are planned.

They will be taught how to use and configure devices, as well as recommendations on Google Workspace features.

In the coming weeks, Google will implement the Ukrainian language on Youtube Learning.

"This will include a range of subjects in line with the national curriculum, from studying Ukrainian literature and language to physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, etc.," said Brittin.

To help Ukrainian students continue their studies, Google made several premium features of Google Workspace for Education free for Ukrainian universities by the end of the year.

"This will allow universities to hold meetings for up to 250 attendees, as well as record them directly to disk," the company said.
