Hogwarts Legacy: PS5 version offers many strong features

The developers of Hogwarts Legacy have revealed how the game will leverage the power and features of the PlayStation 5 and the DualSense controller.
The PlayStation 5 is packed with exciting features - and the Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy will take full advantage of the possibilities the console has to offer.
On the official PlayStation blog, the developers explain that the DualSense controller will be "an extension of the magic wand".
Each spell should feel different thanks to the gamepad's adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

For example, when players use defensive spells and block attacks, we want "the crackle of magic" to be
felt through the controller

Each spell will have a magical resistance that players can feel in their fingertips.
But the DualSense features aren't just limited to magic spells.
Controller feedback is
also used
when crushing ingredients with a mortar
in potions class or
when flying on a broomstick or hippogriff .
And another neat feature is that the lights on the DualSense glow in the colors of each Hogwarts house that the players belong to: blue and bronze for Ravenclaw, scarlet and gold for Gryffindor, green and silver for Slytherin, and yellow and black for Hufflepuff.
"Hogwarts Legacy": Higher frame rate or more detailed graphics can be set
"Hogwarts Legacy" will offer two different graphics settings:
"Fidelity" and "Performance"
.
Players can thus decide whether they want to set a higher frame rate or a better resolution and even more detailed graphics.
As for load times, the developers confirm that the PS5's SSD will help ensure that Hogwarts Legacy load times are very fast.
The game doesn't have a specific release date yet, but it's set to hit the market for Christmas 2022.
