The model Kate Moss, former girlfriend of Johnny Depp, has been this Wednesday the protagonist of the beginning of the trial session that confronts Depp himself with his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
With that phrase, the model has denied a rumor that Heard alluded to during her statement.
She had alluded to that rumor to justify her lunging at Depp during a fight between the two in 2015 when her sister was standing at the top of a ladder.
“I just instantly thought of Kate Moss and the stairs in my head and I went for him,” she stated.
Moss dated Depp from 1994 to 1998. This Wednesday he appeared at the trial by teleconference and gave explanations about what really happened.
According to her version, the model slipped on a staircase and injured her back during a vacation that the couple spent in Jamaica.
Depp ran to help her, took her to her room, and then called the doctors.
Moss has appeared by teleconference from England.
Depp's lawyers have called the model to testify as a rebuttal witness to what the actress previously said.
The trial is already in the final stretch.
It is expected that between tomorrow and the day after the witnesses' statements will be completed and that on Friday the parties will make their final arguments.

in December 2018. In it, Heard defined herself as a public figure representing domestic abuse, without expressly citing her ex-husband.

They both believe that her careers were harmed because of the other person.
The trial is being held in Fairfax County, Virginia, because that is where the newspaper's presses are located.
The testimonies of the trial are opposite.
Amber Heard claims she was mistreated, beaten and even raped with a bottle by Depp, who flatly denies it and ensures that the real victim was him.
