The Finnish GP, scheduled for next 10 July, has been canceled from the championship calendar.
This was announced by Fim, IRTA and Dorna, explaining that the choice was caused by a delay in the works and in the homologation of the KymiRing, linked to the geopolitical situation in the region.
The track's debut will therefore be postponed to the 2023 season, when MotoGP returns to Finland for the first time in four decades.
The World Cup calendar should therefore include 20 rounds and not 21 as expected, which would have made it the longest in history.
The summer break will be extended by a couple of weeks, starting after the Dutch GP in Assen on 26 June.
The resumption is scheduled for 7 August, with the British GP at Silverstone.
