The Senate Chamber unanimously approves, with 211 votes in favor, the resolution to the report of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on Femicide concerning the treatment pathways for male perpetrators of violence.
The approval was followed by a long applause from the Assembly.
"Violence against women is not a raptus or a disease, but a structural phenomenon. We ask men to assume responsibility. This work is an important part of the cultural battle against the asymmetry of power, stereotypes and prejudices of society. patriarchal underlying gender violence ", says the senator of the Democratic Party Valeria Valente, president of the Femicide Commission.
