The famous Brazilian photographer set up his studio there thirty years ago. A home port for this great traveler whose love for the Paris of Marcel Carné has not changed.

I love the view of the Canal Saint-Martin from my Parisian studio.

I love it, I find it so beautiful.

It's a dream location with all these locks, this water that cuts through the heart of Paris, so romantic, pleasant, well built.

All those trees around.

At the end of the day, the light hits the building opposite, we see the reflection on the water.

How lucky to have a studio in such a heavenly place!

In the 1990s, Lélia and I were looking for a place to settle down.

We have lived in Paris since 1969, we know the capital well.

We wanted to be there and we found a studio right at the inflection point of the channel.

It comes in a straight line from the North.

Afterwards, he turns and goes towards the Bastille.

Today, the whole neighborhood is pedestrianized.
