How to see the film?
If very little information has already circulated, it has not failed to hold the attention of fans.
Indeed, the film, beyond the Cannes screening, will only be released in theaters on July 1 and 2.
Several sessions will be offered, thanks to a decree on temporary visas which allows special broadcasts.

Entitled

, which means "peace" in Arabic, the documentary was co-directed by Diam's with Houda Benyamina (
Divines
) and Anne Cissé (
Vampires
).
On Instagram, the interpreter of
La Boulette
revealed what motivated her to make this production.
She explains that she initially refused numerous requests for biopics, documentaries or series.
“For years, people knocked on my door asking me for permission to stage my life, to play it, to interpret it.
(…) I had the feeling that I was being asked to give the keys to my life so that others could make a film of it.

But she didn't want to turn her suffering into entertainment.
After ten years of silence, she finally changed her mind, but on the condition that she carry out her work herself.

The first pictures
Two days before the broadcast of
Salam
in Cannes, Diam's and Brut unveiled a first trailer for the feature film.
In this video, which lasts only a few seconds, we hear the voice of the singer pronounce a simple sentence: “By dint of running in all directions.

But the public will not have had to wait long before discovering the first images of the film.
On Wednesday, May 25, the trailer for the documentary was released on the singer's social networks.
