Just two weeks ago, we were informed that Zvika Pick had announced a tour after a long absence from the stages, and we are already informed that it will not be carried out.
The 72-year-old Pick, who had a stroke in 2018, was scheduled to launch a series of performances at Zappa clubs across the country from June 3 to July 22.
But last night (Tuesday) it was announced that the veteran musician had decided to cancel the performances.
Zappa's VP of Marketing, Assaf Moore, stated that "these are production considerations by Zvika Pick, we accepted his request to cancel the coordinated shows, and informed the audience of customers who purchased tickets.
Zappa will return all their money to the buyers of the tickets. "
In May 2019, after a long absence from the public eye, Pick first revealed in Haim Challenge's program 12 Rainbow the rehabilitation process he underwent following the stroke and dealing with his injuries.
He has since embraced a new grandson, the son of Daniela Pick, his daughter, and director Quentin Tarantino.
He also recently appeared as part of a tribute evening dedicated to him in Request 12 as part of a fundraising broadcast for the "Halasartan" organization.
