The new and anesthetizing president Joe Biden (with an unmistakable imitation) caused most of the opening sketches to be a drowsiness of the viewers.
In fact, the only buzz the show produced came from panelist Pete Davidson, a not-so-funny stand-up comedian and even less of a comedian than that, who created for himself the name of someone who knows the big stars in America on the set.
From the best show of the season, hosted by Kim Kardashian, they came out as a couple in love, with for an entire season their every move dragging threats from rapper ex Kenya Kenya West.
Even in his farewell monologue from the show, Davidson admitted that viewers expect to hear from him mostly about Kenya, and less insights and punches.

SNL's problem is less the galloping horses and more the riders who are supposed to dictate the direction.
