The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office will arrange an autopsy on the body of the 21-year-old American young man found lifeless in the Tiber in Rome, at Ponte Sisto.
The body of the young man,
Elija Oliphamt
, a native of Dallas, was recovered today by river police officers.
The boy, on holiday with his family in Rome, had been missing for two days.
The parents then filed a complaint about his disappearance.
The external prosecutor Francesco Minisci has entrusted the investigations to the agents of the Trastevere police station and will arrange the autopsy examination to clarify the causes of death.
