What is love?
To the question of the poets, the European House of Photography (MEP) responds with 14 photographers, 14 insistent gazes on the loved one, 14 lives of artists who operate as close as possible to each other and retain the image that is a symbol of intimacy.
A bit like a treasure buried in a half-light that feelings bring to light in a magical and fleeting way.
With a modesty that does not obliterate the nudity of the body, "Love Songs" is this corpus more melancholy than carnal, more sentimental than material, which speaks to everyone, like its own story put into images and found in the heart of a artist.
On walls with suave pastels, with a pale softness of Pre-Raphaelite paintings, follow one another 14 photographic series, 14 love stories which have in common only their emotion and their sincerity.
