(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, MAY 26 - At the conclusion of the Mesemarian Pope Francis "wishes to offer a sign of hope to the world, suffering from the conflict in Ukraine, and deeply hurt by the violence of the many theaters of war that are still active".
This was underlined by the Pontifical Council for New Evangelization by communicating that on Tuesday 31 May at 6.00 pm, the Pope will recite the prayer of the Rosary in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome.
"As a sign of closeness to those who are most involved in the dynamics of these tragic events", a Ukrainian family was also invited to recite the Rosary with the Pope and among the connected shrines there will be that of the Mother of God, in Zarvanytsia, Ukraine.
